Research focuses on impact of light on ocean life and matter fluxes
RV “Poseidon“ starts from Málaga in southern Spain on 16 September, heading for the Balearic Sea. ‚Light‘ is the paramount subject addressed by the scientists of the University of Oldenburg and their spanish colleagues of the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM, CSIC) in Barcelona and the Spanish Institute of Oceanography in Málaga during their current cruise.
