15 young people are starting their training at the university these days. Vice President Jörg Stahlmann welcomed them to the university's workshops, laboratories and offices.
There is hardly any other area where there are so many interesting and exciting training occupations under one roof as at a university. The University of Oldenburg has also been successfully training students for decades - in a total of ten professional fields. These weeks, 15 young people will be starting their training: "We would like to welcome you to our workshops, laboratories and offices. You can look forward to a varied range of work, attractive conditions with many additional benefits and real prospects for the future," said Jörg Stahlmann, Vice President for Administration and Finance, welcoming the new arrivals. "The university will support you with great commitment on your way to becoming a specialist - after all, we are one of the largest employers in the region and also assume a special responsibility in this role," Stahlmann continued.
The training programmes offered by the University of Oldenburg range from manual and technically oriented academic appointments to laboratory and administrative positions. In August, two chemical laboratory assistants, two administrative assistants, a gardener specialising in horticulture and landscaping, two precision mechanics, two IT specialists and an animal keeper began their training. Four electronics technicians for devices and systems will follow in September.
