"Moving young voices" - this is the motto of the 2nd Oldenburg Symposium for Children's and Youth Voices on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 September.

"Moving young voices" - this is the motto of the 2nd Oldenburg Symposium for Children's and Young People's Voices on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 September.

The conference organised by the University's Institute of Music in the Chamber Music Hall (Haarentor campus, Building A11, Ammerländer Heerstraße 69) is aimed at anyone who makes music with children and young people. There are still a few places available and the registration deadline is just a few days away.

The event will focus on the topic of "sound-body": in workshops and lectures, a total of eight speakers will shed light on the relationship between body, sound and voice. The topics include "Rhythm and how I find it in myself", the "Psychology and physiology of emotions in the voice of children and young people" and workshops on beatboxing and body percussion.

The Oldenburg University Society is sponsoring the event. The participation fee is 45 euros, for students 20 euros. Students and lecturers at the University of Oldenburg can attend free of charge.
