The open access publication listed below describes the developemnt of a very affordable, flexibly programmable dipping robot for repetitive immersion/emersion protocols, for instance, for layer-by-layer deposition of functional materials. The instrument is made by reconfiguring and reprogramming a 3D printer. It makes use of 3D-printed hardware components and Ardunino control electronics.
