Collaborative Research Projects

Electrochemistry and Condensed Matter Interfaces - Wittstock Group

Our research group is currently active in the following coordinated research programs:

Cooperative project of BMBF (Fed. Ministry of Education and Research) „Alternative Materials and Components for aprotic Lithium/OxygenBatteries: Chemistry and Stability of Inaktive Components – AMaLiS 2.0”

DFG Research Unit FOR2213 „Nanoporous Gold: A prototype for a rational design of catalysts“

DFG-Priority Program 1928 „Coordination Networks: Building Blocks for Functional Systems“

Cooperative structures

HWK-IAS (Hanse Institute of Advanced Studies – Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg)

The Hanse Wissenschaftskolleg - Institute of Advanced Studies is a charity foundation of private law set up by the states of Lower Saxony and Bremen as well as by the Municipality of the city of Delmenhorst. It is located midway between the University cities Bremen and Oldenburg. HWK-IAS offers a fellowship program for guest researchers in designated research directions (among them energy research where we are active). Fellowship applications are invited biannually. It also hosts small conferences and symposia.
