Numerous theatre projects with music since 1993, including
- "Baby in the Bar", a jazz ballet by Wilhelm Grosz (1927), together with Fred Ritzel, performances in October 1998 and January 1999
- "Von der Unzulänglichkeit menschlichen Strebens" - a Kurt Weill revue together with Fred Ritzel, performances in April at the university and in September 2000 at the partner university Towson University.
- "Iolanthe", an operetta in collaboration with Fred Ritzel and the subjects of English, Textiles and Art in January and May 2003
- "Vorwärts und viel vergessen ...?!", a multimedia revue on music and attitude to life in 40 years of GDR socialism in collaboration with Volker Steinkopff (Art), performances from October 2004 to June 2005, most recently at the Staatstheater Oldenburg
- "Brassed Off, Mit Pauken und Trompeten", a music theatre piece about an English brass band in the coal mines, performances in October 2006 in the university auditorium and at the Sauerland-Herbst, one of the largest brass festivals.
- "It' Oh So Quiet' - Exile Composers in Hollywood", a revue about composers who emigrated from Germany during the Nazi era and found employment in the Hollywood film industry; performances in April 2007 and in October 2007 at the partner university Towson University (Baltimore/USA). A collaboration with Fred Ritzel.
- "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare with music by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy in co-operation with Anke Hoffmann, the University Orchestra under the direction of Rida Murtada and the Institute of Material Culture under the direction of Petra Eller, performances in July 2009.
- "The Threepenny Opera" (Weill/Brecht) in co-operation with and the Institute of Material Culture under the direction of Petra Eller and Towson University, performances in Oldenburg in May 2010, in the USA in September 2010
- "Peer Gynt" by Henrik Ibsen with music by Edvard Grieg and Harald Sæverud, in co-operation with the University Orchestra under the direction of Rida Murtada and the Institute of Material Culture under the direction of Petra Eller, performances in July 2012
- LIEBE IN DEN ZEITEN - LOVE THROUGH TIMES - AMOR ENTRE TIEMPOS, an a cappella percussion revue in collaboration with the College of Education and the Havana University of Music (Cuba) and Towson University, performances in May 2013 in the university auditorium and in Berlin and in September in the USA
- The 70s Revue - together with Peter Janßen, a revue for the 40th anniversary of the university. Performances in July and October 2014. This revue was awarded a special prize at the university's"Preis der Lehre".
- Gender Geschlender - A revue about gender/sex/masculinity/femininity together with Petra Eller and Melanie Unseld. Performances in July 2016 in the university auditorium
