With the utility of an atomically thin MoSe2 semiconductor and an open optical cavity, the Quantum Materials team of Carl von Ossietzky Universität's IfP achieves in-situ actively-tunable upconversion luminescence, and demonstrates the nonlinear upconversion as a unique, efficient injection scheme of polariton populations.
