University Information Day 2011

Everyday student life up close: University Information Day at the University of Oldenburg

Experience university life first-hand, get a taste of lectures and seminars, and find out all about studying – this is what school pupils and other prospective students can do at the University of Oldenburg’s Higher Education Information Day (HIT), which takes place on Friday 1 July. The event is organised by the Central Study Counselling Service (ZSB). Over 3,000 visitors from across the north-west region are expected to attend. They can take part in presentations on the approximately 40 bachelor’s degree programmes, library tours and regular lectures. Discussion sessions with students offer insights into everyday student life.

The Central Study Counselling Service and other university service centres will provide information on admission requirements, study abroad, studying with a disability and funding your studies. Anyone looking for a one-to-one discussion can visit the information stands in the foyer of Lecture Theatre Centre A14 on Uhlhornsweg to find out about all the key topics relating to university life. For journeys between the university’s two campuses, bus routes 306 and 310 can be used free of charge with a ticket from the programme booklet.
