Physics workshop on the topic of "Light"
In co-operation with Oldenburg's Cäcilienschule, the Institute of Physics is organising a workshop for pupils on the subject of "Light" on Saturday 26 January from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
The workshop will take place at the University of Oldenburg (Wechloy campus, room W2 1-148) and is aimed at pupils interested in physics from year 10 upwards. It offers a varied programme with experiments and work in small groups. Supervision is provided by student teachers. Materials, magazines and catering will be provided.
The workshop will end with a lecture by Prof Christoph Lienau, experimental physicist and Director of the Institute of Physics, on the topic of "The fastest cameras in the world".
The workshop is being organised by Dr Ludger Hannibal, private lecturer at the Institute of Physics and teacher of Mathematics, Physics and Computing Science at the Cäcilienschule, with support from the LzO (Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg).
