Alumni Gathering in Accra, Ghana

PPRE News from/about Alumni

Three of our PPRE alumni, Mr. Henry Wasajja (EMRE 2010/11), Dr. Al-Mas Sendegeya (PPRE 1999-2000), and Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku Togobo (PPRE 1997-98), met in Ghana.

Mr. Henry Wasajja (EMRE 2010/11) and Dr. Al-Mas Sendegeya (PPRE 1999-2000) from Uganda made a business trip to Ghana from the 6th to the 11th of September 2023, where they visited different energy companies with a focus on sustainable energy generation from biomass.

During their visit, they met Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku Togobo (PPRE 1997-98) from Ghana, presently Director of Renewable Energy at Bui Power Authority, in Accra. Wisdom informed them about ongoing activities at Bui Power Authority. Among others he was in charge of the installation of a 5 MW Floating PV Power Plant on a hydro reservoir in Ghana.
