Earlier this year, the SuRE and EMRE batches 2022-24 celebrated their graduation with a final ceremony at University of Oldenburg!

The SuRE and EMRE classes of 2022-2024 prepared a graduation ceremony earlier this month on February 7th. The ceremony was led by two fellow students, Valeria Castrillon (SuRE 2022-24) and Anthony Adjei-Opai (SuRE 2022-24). A heartfelt key note was delivered by Dr. -Ing Herena Torio recalling lessons taught across lectures from the SuRE studies. A video of student memories was played before students had individual moments to walk across the stage and receive their certificates. Following the stage were two inspiring faculty speeches from Prof. Dr. Carsten Agert and Hans-Gerhard Holtorf, PhD. Students Yovitza Romero Ramos (SuRE 2022-24) and Temuulen Purevdorj (SuRE 2022-24) delivered a final graduate speech before Dr. Martin Knipper closed the ceremony with a final message for our future as energy professionals.

It was a memorable day full of reunions as a last planned gathering between all students. Many brought friends and family which came along and supported the graduates. The SuRE and EMRE batch were able to enjoy a long lunch and photo session to reconnect with peers who have graduated, relocated for thesis or job opportunities, or had been otherwise unavailable.

With the finished graduation, many students are already moving onward towards their desired careers or seeking opportunities. We wish our recent graduating batch all the best, and thank each other for the lifelong memories.
