Services and advice
The school offers services and advice on the organisation of studies. Our services are differentiated according to the following areas:
- Academic counselling in economics and law
- Advisory service for computer science
- Internship service
- International Studies
- Project Endspurt
- Complaint Management
The Coordination of Studies and Teaching coordinates these services. The counselling itself is provided by the staff members responsible for the above-mentioned service areas.

Coordination for Studies and Teaching
Each school of the University of Oldenburg has staff members for the coordination of studies and teaching (see Coordinators for Studies and Teaching). Your contact persons in School II are
This unit is assigned to the Office of the Dean of Studies of School II and pursues the following main areas of activity:
- Assistance to the two Deans of Studies of School II
- Supervision of committee work (esp. Studien-AG Computing Science, Studien-AG Business Administration, Economics, and Law and the Study Commission)
- Updating and adapting the examination and admission regulations
- Use and administration of funds for studies and teaching (study quality funds, earmarked funds)
- Further development of the individual degree programmes of Faculty II within the degree programme system of the University of Oldenburg
- Coordination of the courses offered
- Advising students and lecturers in all general and interdisciplinary questions of study and teaching (subject-specific advisory services for students can be found on the pages of the Advisory Service for Economics and Law or Computing Science)
- Accreditation procedure of the study programmes of school II
- Quality assurance based on data evaluation (data from Academic Controlling on accreditation procedures and course evaluations)
- Further development of the individual degree programmes of school II within the degree programme system of the University of Oldenburg based on the quality management system
- Supervision of the Endspurt programme for long-term students
- Supervision of the Complaint Management of School II

- Supervision of the Complaint management of School II

- Supporting committee work (in particular the Computing Science Student Working Group, the WiRe Student Working Group and the Academic Committee)

- Use and management of funds for study and teaching (study quality funds, earmarked funds)
- Further development of the individual degree programmes in School II within the University of Oldenburg’s degree programme system
- Coordination of the range of courses on offer
- Advising students and teaching staff on all general and cross-disciplinary matters relating to study and teaching (subject-specific advisory services for students can be found on the pages of the subject-specific academic advisory service Economics and Law or the Computing Science).
- Co-ordination of the School II’s complaint management
