Information and advice on the training module prx108

The information on this website is intended for students on the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Economics (single-subject and dual-subject programmes for non-school-based students), Business Administration with a specialisation in Law, and Sustainability Economics, who are required to complete a training module as part of their studies.

As a rule, the degree programmes mentioned above involve a career-oriented work placement (prx108). The work placement is normally intended to last a total of 8 weeks or 320 working hours and may be completed in separate blocks or as a single continuous period.

Objectives of the training module

The training module is a compulsory component of the degree programmes listed above. It offers students the opportunity to reflect on or clarify their career motivation and choice of profession. Furthermore, it is intended to enable students to apply the theoretical concepts learnt during their studies in a practical context and to strengthen their practical and transferable skills.

Accompanying course for the work placement

The accompanying course offers students the opportunity to prepare for or review the practical knowledge they have learnt. The seminar is completed as a block (3 days) and includes, in particular, information and exercises relating to the application process.
