Academic Counselling of the Department of Business Administration, Economics and Law

A warm welcome

on the academic advisory service pages of the Department of Economics and Law

We are happy to assist prospective students and current students with subject-specific (i.e. content-related) enquiries regarding our degree programmes. Subject-specific questions primarily cover planning your course of study, course content, module selection, planning your course of study in a part-time study, and finding a topic for your final dissertation. Depending on your degree programme, various academic advisers are available to offer guidance (see ‘Contact details’).

Your points of contact for any enquiries relating to your studies

Depending on the nature of your enquiry, there are various points of contact and people to speak to. You can find these under the ‘Points of Contact’ section.

In this regard, it is particularly important to distinguish between central enquiries (e.g. applications, entry requirements, examinations, recognition of prior learning) and subject-specific enquiries (e.g. planning your course of study, module selection, work placements). The WiRe academic advisory service forms part of the subject-specific advisory services.

Your academic advisers by degree programme

Depending on your degree programme, there are various academic advisers available to assist you. You can find them under the ‘Contact details’ section.
