1st Oldenburg MEG Symposium

2023 September 21th and 22nd

The Neuroimaging Unit of the University of Oldenburg is excited to host a two-day symposium on magnetoencephalography (MEG).

Since 2016 the Neuroimaging Unit (Core Facility) runs a 306 channel whole-head Neuromag Triux MEG system.

The university hosts a prestigious DFGfunded Cluster of Excellence in Hearing Research and the Dept. of Psychology was recently evaluated as excellent with the highest third party funding rate among psychologies in Lower Saxony.

Confirmed speakers are

  • Prof. Dr. Joachim Groß.
    University of Münster
Titel „Brain oscillations and brain/body states“

  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jens Haueisen
    Ilmenau University of Technology, Ilmenau
Title „Dry EEG combined with MEG“

  • Dr. Burkhard Maess
Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, Leipzig
    Titel „Optically pumped magnetometers“
