Application to the University of Oldenburg

School-leaving qualification in your home country

If you wish to study on one of our degree programmes and obtained your school-leaving qualification from a non-German-speaking institution, you must apply to study in Germany via the (fee-based) Service Centre for International Student Applications, uni-assist e.V. You will find information on the application process in your own language on the service centre’s website.

Further information on applications, application deadlines, entry requirements, etc. can be found on the the InfoPortal Studium at the University of Oldenburg.

Exchange students and foreign nationals with German university entrance qualifications

International students who wish to study in Oldenburg as part of an exchange programme (ERASMUS / university agreement) should first contact the International Office at their home university. The home university will then decide on a nomination and contact the International Office (IO) at the University of Oldenburg. The application documents are sent directly to the IO. The application form can be found here:
uol.de/austauschstudium/

Foreign nationals with German university entrance qualifications should apply directly via the University of Oldenburg’s Admissions office.

Further information can also be found here.
