Bachelor of Arts
In Oldenburg, Sports Science can be studied as part of a dual-subject Bachelor’s degree. This means that, in addition to Sports Science, a second subject must be taken. The focus of the Bachelor’s programme in Sports Science is on the various teaching qualifications. Depending on the teaching qualification chosen, the programme in Sports Science covers different content and scope (the information on the following pages reflects the current examination regulations):
- Primary school
- Secondary and lower secondary schools
- Grammar school
- Special educational needs
- Business Education
When combined with the subjects of Special Educational Needs or Business Education, Sports Science can only be studied as a minor subject (30 credit points at Bachelor’s level). In addition to teacher training, the Bachelor’s programme can be undertaken with a non-teaching career goal (two-subject Bachelor’s degree) (free choice of combination of subjects):
