Research at ICBM

For our research we engage in a voyage through scales, from molecules and single cells to ecosystems and global cycles. Research at ICBM can be divided into four main priorities areas:

Microbial interactions and geochemical cycles – from molecules and cells to global processes

Biodiversity in dynamic marine ecosystems – weaving the tapestry of drivers and interactions

The land-sea interface – matter fluxes and turnover
