During the funding period regular meetings of the Groningen and Oldenburg members took place on a monthly basis. A weekly seminar was held in Oldenburg in which the graduates had the opportunity to present and discuss their research. Additionally, summer schools and other workshops were organized.

After the funding of the InterGK had expired, the old INTERGK seminar has been renamed as "Hot Topics in Neurosensory Science and Systems". It takes place on Fridays, 10-12 c.t., in Room W2 1-143 at the Wechloy Campus.
