For many years, Hermann Havekost, former Director of the Library and Information System, had the fliers of the various political groups, of cultural activities and information events at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg collected off the tables in the canteen and cafeteria. Bound in volumes these fliers remain special documents on the university’s political and cultural history and are available to students and scholars for their research..
