Composition: 4:1:1:1 (professors' group, employees' group, administrative/technical staff group, student group) + ombudspersons
According to Section 14.2 of the principles for safeguarding good academic practice at the University of Oldenburg dated 05 October 2022, the committee is composed of four professors with voting rights as well as one member of the employee group and one member of the administrative/technical staff group holding at least a doctorate degree with voting rights; the latter only have an advisory vote when it comes to academic misconduct committed by professors. If a student is alleged to have committed academic misconduct, a student is also asked to participate in the committee in an advisory capacity. The ombudspersons within the meaning of Section 12 serve as advisory members on the committee for good academic practice (Section 14(6) of the regulations).
