No compulsory enrolment for doctoral students!
After extensive examination, the Legal Affairs Unit of the University of Oldenburg has informed us that there is no obligation for doctoral candidates to enrol at any time during the doctoral phase; such a requirement (even if it should be in the doctoral degree regulations) is not in accordance with the NHG.
