As the recent election to elect a new doctoral student representative body was unsuccessful, the current representative body is now only acting in an interim capacity. We will continue to do our utmost to represent the interests of doctoral students, but we ask for your understanding if there are any delays in responding to enquiries sent to our email address.

No compulsory enrolment for doctoral students!
After extensive examination, the Legal Affairs Unit of the University of Oldenburg has informed us that there is no obligation for doctoral candidates to enrol at any time during the doctoral phase; such a requirement (even if it should be in the doctoral degree regulations) is not in accordance with the NHG. Current workshops and events of the Graduate Academy
The Graduate Academy and its two Graduate Schools are once again offering exciting courses and workshops for enrolled doctoral students this semester. You can find out more here and on the Graduate Academy website.
Current sports programme
Body instead of mind: this semester, the university sports team is once again offering numerous courses (some of which are free for enrolled students). You can find more information here or on the university sports website.
