Yovitza Romero Ramos, Peru (SuRE 2022-24), visited The 8th Conference for Student Research. The conference was organized by the University of Hamburg and took place on 28 September 2023 at Hamburg Center. The main idea of the present conference was "Shaping the Future: Student Research focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals".

The ISA-Center of the University of Hamburg invited all students from all over Germany and from all disciplines to present their research and to discuss with an interested and multidiscipline audience during the StuFo Hamburg 2023. Yovitza Romero, a current student of Sustainable Renewable Energy Technologies (SuRE Master), and a representative of the University of Oldenburg presents its research topic with the title: “The Role of Sector Coupling and Smart Energy Management as Drivers of the Energy Transition and GHG Emission Reductions in the Industry Sector”.

The Conference provided a multicultural and multidisciplinary space, where students were able to discuss and present their research questions and also connect with other students for potential future collaborations.
