Very saddened to inform that Dr. Gajanana Hegde (PPRE 97) passed away in India on 2nd September after a brief illness. He was the leader of emission reduction methodologies at the UNFCCC secretariat at Bonn, Germany where he was based for the last 18 years. He is survived by his wife and son.Gajanana was soft spoken, always smiling and kind. He contributed significantly to the promotion of small-scale renewable energy systems in the CDM and the new Pars Agreement Crediting Mechanism. Many of us will miss him as a dear colleague and friend. RIP Gajanana
