Seven women and eleven men began their training at the University of Oldenburg in August. "As one of the largest employers in the region, the university is very aware of its responsibility for the academic appointments of young adults. That is why we attach great importance to providing diverse and well-founded training in our workshops, laboratories and offices, thereby also contributing to the development of skilled workers," emphasised Jörg Stahlmann, Vice President for Administration and Finance, at today's official welcoming ceremony for the apprentices.

This year, four systems electronics technicians and three precision mechanics are starting their training. Two chemical laboratory technicians, two gardeners, two administrative assistants specialising in state administration and two IT specialists are starting their careers. The university is also training one animal keeper, one pool attendant and one media designer for image and sound.
