Shortly before her final exams this summer, the trainee chemical laboratory technician seized the opportunity to gain international experience in the UK. Organised by the BNW, Ms Petersen will first complete a one-week language course at the Liverpool School of English, followed by a four-week work-related placement at the University of Liverpool. On 19 April 2014, she will hopefully return safe and sound, enriched by many new experiences.
