On 17 October 2022, the Oldenburg Adult Education Centre provided the setting for the University of Oldenburg's joint "Vocational Training Day", which was held under the motto "Shaping the future in a resource-conscious way". After a welcome by Jörg Stahlmann, Vice President for Administration and Finance, the apprentices Svenja Wiecking and Andre Weinthal delighted the audience with their presentation on the "Energy Excursion 2022". Sebastian Breer, wwf Germany, Climate Protection and Energy Policy Officer, provided a refreshing and inspiring introduction to the day's theme with his guest lecture on "What if everything goes well?". In four rolling workshops, the participants were able to engage with the topic from different perspectives and have a lot of fun.
