Music
Location
The Music Section (mus/not) is located on the mezzanine between the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Central Library. In addition to information materials of all kinds, you will find literature and music collections, as well as a comprehensive collection of audio materials in the Multimedia Centre on the mezzanine between the 3rd and 4th floors. This stems from several music collection bequests (e.g., salon music), the Library's own Archive for New Music in Eastern Europe, and a collaboration with the Sophie Drinker Institute (Bremen), a research institute specialising in women's musicological and gender studies.

Specialised Information Services (FID)
The service is explicitly aimed at scientists. It aims to provide them with specialised literature and research-relevant information quickly and directly, regardless of their location. As a nationwide system, specialised information services supplement the information infrastructures of universities and research institutions.
The resources of the specialised information services are accessed directly via the responsible libraries.
