On 03 November 2023 the Joint Consortium Meeting of Comparison of healthcare structures, processes and outcomes in the Northern German and Dutch cross-border region (CHARE-GD) took place at the Youth Hostel in Leer. Since 2021, four sub-projects (CHARE-GD I) and since 2022, six sub-projects (CHARE-GD II) are strengthening the German-Dutch collaboration on healthcare research.

Researchers came together to share and discuss first results of CHARE-GD I and II. This allowed for an exchange between sub-projects and gave room to reflect on challenges made and achievements encountered since projects started.

In the morning, sub-projects of CHARE GD-I were presented.

In the afternoon, sub-projects of CHARE-GD II were presented.

The day ended with an open discussion on administrational challenges and learnings from all sub-projects of CHARE-GD I and II. We are looking forward to next time!
