About the project

This project focuses on surgical infections related to breast implants and vascular prostheses. The project aims to examine the incidence, identify causative microorganisms, analyse differences in protocols and guidelines, and establish best practices for these surgical procedures. The ultimate goal is to improve healthcare quality in the cross-border region between Northern Netherlands and Germany by reducing risks and developing effective approaches for the implementation of new guidelines and protocols.
