Oldenburg is known as a bicycle-friendly city. The Haarentor campus can be reached by bike in around ten minutes and the Wechloy campus in around 15 minutes from Oldenburg city centre. The university is constantly expanding and improving its cycling facilities.

There are over 4,000 bicycle parking spaces at the university locations, most of which are covered.

There are also secure bicycle parking facilities at Oldenburg main station and Wechloy station.

Bicycle repair

The bicycle DIY workshop on the Haarentor campus offers students help with repairs.

There are two repair stations which can be used twentyfour-seven: One is located at the bicycle parking facility in front of building A1, another one is at Campus Wechloy left hand side of the main entrance.
