Please note, if you are a first-year student:

• The programme presentation for the dual-subject Bachelor’s degree in German Studies will take place on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm in Lecture Theatre 1.
• To attend the seminars for the core modules ger010 ‘Language and Culture’, ger020 ‘Literature and Culture’ and ger033 ‘Acquisition and Teaching’, you must register. Registration is only possible online via Stud-IP. You can find the times when you can register in the course catalogue. To register, you will need your Stud-IP login details, which you will receive together with your enrolment documents.
• It is the students’ responsibility to keep themselves up to date with announcements relating to the German Studies programme. To fulfil this obligation to keep informed, it is essential to subscribe to the German Studies mailing list.
