Teacher Education Program Survey
Every two years—as part of the OLE+ project—the Presidential Department for Study Affairs conducts a survey of students in teacher education programs. Questions address students' assessment of their own skills, links between theory and practice, and interrelatedness of program components. This information helps us identify strengths and weaknesses of particular teacher training programs. Furthermore, survey results provide reference points for further programs development.
In the survey, students are asked to evaluate:
- Their own skills in subject area, subject-specific pedagogy and education in general
- Links between theory and practice
- Interrelatedness of program components
- Basic pedagogical skills (diversity, inclusion, German as a second language)
- Research-based learning
