Qualitative Procedures

In addition to quantitative evaluation methods that include surveys and course evaluations, the Internal Evaluation also offers two qualitative evaluation methods:

The Teaching Analysis Poll (TAP) is a qualitative feedback instrument for mid-semster evaluations of courses.

If, due to low response rates in surveys, it is not possible to compile evaluations for degree programmes, e.g., for degree programme conferences within the framework of system accreditation, the Internal Evaluation offers the Dialog im Fokus (DiFo). This is a focus group tool, i.e., a moderated group discussion based on predetermined guiding questions.
