We offer projects for a Master thesis in the areas of Machine Learning and Computational Neuroscience. For all projects good mathematical skills and good to very good programming skills are required. Experiences with learning algorithms, optimization mechanisms or data analysis are desirable.
Typical projects can be ...
- the application of Machine Learning algorithms to different data sets
- the further development of learning algorithms
- development of new learning algorithms
- investigation of neural learning dynamics
- models of intelligent biological systems and biological learning
