Our group investigates both the generation and the perception of sound and vibration. We are particularly interested in extending the knowledge about human auditory perception and applying this knowledge in the fields of sound reproduction systems, virtual acoustics, sound quality, and in digital signal processing algorithms for various applications.  

Some examples of recent research topics are computational auditory scene analysis, perception of fan noise, and spatial auditory perception.
