As part of the cooperation week with Nelson Mandela University, a symposium on the topic "The sustainable development goals as guidelines for socially responsible universities?" was held. In the hybrid event offered, researchers from both universities gave presentations on the dimensions of sustainability (social, economic and environmental). The symposium concluded with a roundtable discussion in which the future of education and educational institutions was discussed from a transdisciplinary perspective.
