Note on photographs

Photographs will be taken at the InfoMarket and during the opening ceremony, which we would like to use for reporting purposes (press releases, university website, LinkedIn, Instagram), for documentation and information purposes and to promote the InfoMarket and the opening ceremony in the coming year. These recordings are linked to the pictorial representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is partly random. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer accordingly.

Furthermore, if you do not agree with a specific publication that has already taken place, please notify us immediately with a precise reference to the image in question. In this case, the photo will be removed within a reasonable period of time and no longer published.

Awareness in Orientation Week

The University of Oldenburg is dedicated to the principles of non-violence, respect, and sensitivity in interpersonal relations. All students should be able to move, discuss and get involved freely and safely at the university during their studies.

Of course, this also applies to Orientation Week, which is designed to give all students a good start to their studies.

Anyone who has experienced or observed discrimination, oppression, transgressive behaviour, psychological and/or physical violence or sexual assault at an event or on campus can contact the following addresses at any time:
