- In October 2018, Antonietta De Sio was one of two female scientists to receive the "Prize for Excellent Research" from the Oldenburg University Society. She was honoured for her contributions to understanding of the light-induced energy and charge transfer processes in organic solar cell materials. The Italian-born scientist uses Italian-born scientist uses two-dimensional optical spectroscopy with the highest temporal resolution to elucidate the fundamental mechanisms of light-current conversion in nanomaterials. Congratulations!!!
