Brief profile of Slavic Studies
The Institute of Slavic Studies is divided into the core areas of linguistics and literature. Both areas concentrate on the northern area of Slavia and mainly represent Russian, Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian in teaching.
In linguistics, the focus of research and teaching is on systematic linguistics and on the field of language contact research with a sociolinguistic character.
