Learning support in the ELMO Learning clinic

We support children and young people from the city of Oldenburg in their learning! The Learning Center ELMO offers a scientifically based assessment of learning skills for children and young people. This forms the basis for our individualised learning support services for children and young people with suspected dyscalculia, reading and/or spelling disorders.

Our goals

  • Effective and individual learning support for children and young people with specific developmental barriers (e.g. in reading, spelling, arithmetic, learning behaviour, concentration)
  • Transfer of current research findings into practice
  • Practice- and research-oriented teaching for our students

Our services for children and young people, their parents and teachers

  • Resource-orientated skills assessment in accordance with the S3 guidelines (costs are generally covered by health insurance)
  • Individualised learning support (free of charge)
    • Age-appropriate, holistic and motivating
    • Based on the results of the skills assessment
    • Based on the latest scientific findings and methods

Further information can be found below in our flyer, the parents' letter and the school letter. If you would like to register your child, please complete the declaration of consent below and send it to us by post or email.
