Assistive technologies

The Assistive Technologies (AT) and Digital Participation in Physical and Motor Impairments research center is dedicated to the question of how AT - i.e. products and strategies to support people with physical and motor impairments - can be used effectively in rehabilitation, school and everyday life. The aim is to promote participation and self-determination in education, work, culture and leisure.

The AT research center thus creates a bridge between scientific knowledge, practical training and social application - and positions the University of Oldenburg as a center of innovation for assistive technologies and digital inclusion.
