Applied research

Students go through the entire process of research-based learning as part of their seminar papers and thesis in the Learning Center ELMO.

Research-based learning in the Learning Center ELMO

  1. Deriving a question from the observation during the skills assessment
  2. Designing learning support on the basis of current scientific findings
  3. Collecting learning progress data during the implementation of the support for evaluation purposes
  4. Evaluation and presentation of results in the seminar

Students are closely supervised throughout the entire research process. Regular reflection and counselling sessions are held.

In addition to the students' research projects, higher-level research projects are also implemented by staff in the Learning Center ELMO
