The following pages are intended to provide guidance and assistance with regard to amendments, the drafting and revision of examination regulations.

The amendment, drafting or revision of examination regulations follows a process that sets out the entire timetable to be observed, as well as the committees involved and the various ‘stages’ of the process.

The current process plan is sent out in the autumn by the Department for Study Affairs to all parties involved in the process, with effect from the following year.
