Material and Energy Flow Analyses, waste management, Circular Economy and sampling of solid wastes, safety and quality manager (TÜV Nord), current research focus in the fields of renewable energy, sustainable resource management with a focus on critical materials.

Professional development

I am an excellent raw material engineer and sustainability expert. From 2014 to 2019 I successfully headed the "Cascade Use" research group at the University of Oldenburg, which was awarded the German Raw Material Efficiency Award 2018 by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy for its IT development RAUPE - "Sustainable IT-based reuse decisions based on the example of used car parts" . In the same year I received the "Heads of the Future" award from the BMBF FONA - Research for Sustainable Development. I have been part-time manager of the Steinbeis Resource Transfer Center since October 2015, where I mainly work as a consultant. I have been working as an external assessor in the EU research program Horizon 2020 since 2018. Today, I am working as Principal Scientist at OFFIS in Oldenburg.
