On Nov. 16, 2023, the presidential board issued the guideline on standardized wording of the affiliation in scientific publications („Richtlinie der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg für die standardisierte Angabe der Affiliation in wissenschaftlichen Publikationen”, Drs.P/2023/503), to enhance visibility of both research and researchers of our university. The standardized form is a prerequsite to positively identify publications of Oldenburg researchers.

The guideline is to help researchers use the correct affiliation form in their publications; adherence to it is mandatory for all scientific publications.
