Future Day
The Department of Psychology has been participating in the Future Day since 2018. The Future Day is a annual, national one-day trial internship or workshop for students. It takes place usually in April. Students have the opportunity to envision how a possible career in psychological research may look like. The topic of the Department of Psychology is "Brain Researchers Wanted". Participating students usually get to visit our MRI scanner and conduct experiments in our laboratories as researchers. The experiments differ every year, but cover a range of our neuroimaging and behavioral methods, including hearing tests, biofeedback, visual illusions and programming.
The Future Day is managed centrally by the Equal Opportunities Office of the University of Oldenburg and the department-related organization is carried out by us.
