Bachelor examination regulations

Change in the advanced module
"Older Language and Literature" (ger231)

For students who enrolled before winter semester 16/17, we have compiled the following changes to ger231 and ger242/246 here. They apply to all students, including those who enrolled before winter semester 16/17.

The advanced module ger231/AM 3 "Older Language and Literature", which is a compulsory module for all students aiming to become a grammar school teacher, no longer consists of a seminar and an exercise, but of 2 seminars. It is to be studied as follows:

  • The basic seminar must be taken in the winter semester.
  • The specialisation seminar must be completed in the following summer semester.

Please take this sequence and the two-semester duration of ger231/AM 3 into account when planning your studies.

Change in the advanced module
"Linguistic and Literary Socialisation" (ger242/246)

The modules ger242/AM 12 and ger246/AM 13 no longer consist of seminar and exercise. Instead, they must be studied:

Seminar + Seminar.

As before, the advanced module ger242/246 must be completed in one semester.

ger242 is a compulsory module for Bachelor's students aiming to become primary school teachers.

ger246 is a compulsory module for Bachelor's students aiming to become secondary school and grammar school teachers.
