HR tech company Phenom from the USA acquires software innovator Tandemploy, which was supported by an EXIST start-up grant in Oldenburg in 2013 and is now based in Berlin.
The clever SaaS matching algorithm from Tandemploy, a former Oldenburg start-up founded in 2013 by Anna Kaiser and Jana Tepe, analyses skills-based data and uses it to connect employees for a variety of collaborative work and learning opportunities. Some of Europe's largest companies use this platform to promote talent and drive internal networking. This strengthening of companies from within, the focus on the existing potential of employees and their targeted connection and further development with the help of customised user journeys perfectly complement and expand Phenom's talent experience management platform.
All employees of the startup team will move to Phenom, including Anna and Jana. They have spent almost a decade shaping the culture and their product, constantly challenging the status quo. On their journey from entrepreneurs to influential thought leaders, the two successful founders have been recognised with many awards, including BBC 30 Under 30, LinkedIn Top Voices and 25 Women Revolutionising Our Economy.
