Beginning on the 12th of September, the city of Bremen is hosting its annual “Maritime Week“, a festival celebrating the nautical heritage of the region. We are organising an excursion to visit this festival and enjoy a fresh autumn day in our neighbouring city. Whilst the programme for the opening weekend is yet to be finalised, we strongly expect to be able to visit presentations from the renowned research institutes in the field of maritime science and research, who will be presenting their discoveries alongside the river. A variety of tours and other interesting activites are also expected.
We will share the programme with you, once it has been finalised. Following a visit to the opening day of the “Maritime Week”, we will explore ”MARKTHALLE ACHT”, an eclectic old trading hall that hosts several international food stalls and a communal dining space, where we intend to grab lunch together.
